Taleggio PDO

Taleggio is a traditional Italian soft cheese with a creamy texture, washed rind and rich, savoury flavour.

Made from cow’s milk, this Northern Italian cheese has a distinctive aroma with a mellow, buttery taste that becomes more complex as it matures. Its soft, melting texture makes it ideal for cheese boards, risotto, polenta, pasta, grilled sandwiches, focaccia and baked dishes.

Serving suggestion:

Serve Taleggio at room temperature with crusty bread, pears, figs, honey, walnuts or cured meats. Melt into risotto, polenta, pasta sauces or toasted sandwiches for a rich, creamy finish.
